This kit comes with a fully enclosed airbox that protects the filter from dirt and keeps out engine heat. Design Improvements S&B’s one piece box design features an integrated box seal with a relocated filter minder location. Cooler Air. More Density Our oversized snorkel with lip engulfs more cold air. The cooler the air, the greater the density, resulting in better performance. Silicone Filters and Couplers Silicone is a premium rubber which will seal better and last longer. It handles as much as 400F without cracking or tearing. With a high friction surface and no oily residue, our silicone filters and couplers won’t slide off the tube. Huge Silicone Lid Funnel We added a silicone lid funnel to isolate the engine heat while tunneling more to your engine.
