Description The PSR is a Genuine Toyota Factory Part directly from Japan. These are the same factory Toyota pressure sensors that we use to build our other pressure sensor products. They are also factory bolt on replacements for the pressure sensor on the 2.7L 2TR-FE engines and certain 4.7L 2UZ-FE engines that have a single pressure sensor underneath the intake manifold. Direct replacement on the 4.7L requires removal of the intake manifold. To avoid removal of the intake manifold for replacement on the 4.7L, we offer a pig-tailed harness version (PSRW) that wires directly in at the ECM. For all other vehicles this sensor is used with a custom harness to replace the sensors that are actually part of the air switching valves without having to replace the valve itself. These are Toyota part #89421-71010 and are not the same as the aftermarket offerings. If you want to source your own sensor use only a factory Toyota or Denso branded only. It may be tempting to use the less expensive aftermarket sensors but we see a lot of problems with those which is why we ONLY use and sell factory Toyota sensors in our products.
