Description Dominant Bass Perlon Core, Chrome Wound strings have a low tension, nylon core. The solo tuning set of four strings tunes to A,E,B,F#. These versatile strings can also be tuned down a step to make a lower tension slap bass string for rockabilly and bluegrass players. If the strings are too long, do not wind the metal part of the string over the tuning peg. The metal part of the string will cut into the silk wrap and the string will break.
