Description The R35 GTR has a crankshaft flange designed to transmit about 750 ft lbs of tq. When hp and tq is increased, it can cause the GTR flywheel to be damaged from fretting. This movement of the crankshaft flange against the flywheel surface will destroy your crankshaft and flywheel very quickly. We developed a diamond washer to combat this, and increase the friction between the two surfaces. Diamond coated stainless steel washers increase friction between the flywheel and crankshaft. The friction washers increase the coefficient of friction between two fastened surfaces and can allow as much as 4x higher torque to be transmitted. This allows the components to withstand increased shear forces associated with making more torque. Features Not affected by oil films Increases maximum load and peak torque of bolted joints.
